Mega Pay is a dedicated digital services platform. Our application features concentrate exclusively on the following:

• User Registration & Login: Secure account creation, password management, and user authentication linked with our platform user database.
• VTU & Utility Services: Airtime and mobile data top-ups, electricity token purchases, and cable TV subscriptions.
• Gift Cards & Digital Products: Purchase and generation of digital gift cards and virtual products.
• Transaction History: Logging and reviewing order history, gift card generation logs, and transaction records.

2. Categories of Information Collected and Processed

To deliver these gift card and VTU features reliably, our app handles specific categories of information:

• Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Account & Security Information: User account credentials, profile settings, and transaction PIN records.
• Transaction Records: Gift card orders, purchase logs, and transaction history.
• Service & Beneficiary Details: Beneficiary phone numbers, utility meter numbers, and smartcard/IUC identifiers entered by users.
• Network & Device Information: IP address and necessary network/device information to maintain reliable connectivity when network conditions change. This permission is not used to access, record, or listen to phone calls.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

Our application interacts with trusted third-party service providers, including payment gateways, VTU/utility providers, and cable aggregators. Only information strictly necessary to complete a user-requested gift card or VTU transaction is shared with these relevant providers.

4. Data Retention and Account Deletion

You maintain control over your account data. Upon verification, we will delete or anonymize personal information that is no longer required. Certain transaction, security, or legal records may be retained where necessary to comply with applicable operational obligations or prevent fraud.
